I started this site because I love digital scrapbooking, and because I'd like to keep my beloved hobby, without breaking the bank.  I'm sure many of you are in the same boat right now.

The purpose of this site is to provide you with many resources for 100% FREE digital scrapbooking!  This includes backgrounds, embellishments, alphabets, & much more!

I will also use this as a site to share other things that I enjoy with you.  I hope you enjoy it!

Here is the list of sites I use, as well as a brief
review
of each site.  I will update this site as often as I find worthy sites to list.  If you have any input or other sites you love and want me to add, please feel free to email me!

This is just awesome!  Just sign up with your email and you receive kits to your inbox every Friday!  You can purchase previous kits for as little as $5 for as many as you can download in 30 days!  Most of the time, they are fabulous kits!  At the top, click on "The Digital Freebies Mailing List" to join.

From the home site, see the left navigation area, under Freebies.  They have lot of really neat papers, embellishments, fonts, mini kits, and alphabets for free.  They don't send out updates very often (maybe once every three months?), but when they do, they are well worth downloading!
If you click on "Layout Ideas", a lot of layout ideas appear.  This is so fabulous when you are stuck on a layout!

This site is just amazing!  Look at the hundreds of free fonts!  They even make it so easy to download all of the free fonts at one time!  And you can send in your handwriting to have it converted to a digital font!  I haven't done that yet, but plan to and will post it here when I do!

Rakscraps.com

This site is great!  It has a gallery, as well as tutorials for different softwares.  Once you sign up, you start receiving the freebies.  Sign up for the blog/newsletter and you get so many more!    They send you monthly kits (sometimes huge ones, sometimes small ones).  The great thing about the newsletter is that you can go to the list of them anytime, and click on back issues.  You can go as far back as 2005, and each month has at least 2 kits, so that's at least 36 months worth of kits, making it at least 82 kits you can download for free!  Join the Yahoo group for even more freebies!  Simply fabulous!

Click on Freebies at the top.  They always have great freebies!  They come out about monthly, I think.  Click on "Download Center" from the freebies page, then on "register".

Awesome!  Just click on "sign up here" on the home page.  Daily newsletters are sent to your mailbox (if you'd like), and each one has 1 freebie in it.  You can also subscribe to the weekly round-up newsletter, which has another freebie on it!  Sometimes it's a background, sometimes a word, or an embellishment.  It's so fun to see what that day's freebie is!

Awesome!  Just click away to download.  Looks like she hasn't updated her site in a long time, but what she offers is beautiful!  For FREE!

Shabbyprincess.com

Simple and easy to download!  Beautiful downloads!  Some of the nicest I've seen.  You have to check the site periodically because they don't send emails.

Beautiful, easy downloads!  From the home page, just click on Freebies!

Scrapnfonts.com
Review: 4 out of 5 scraps
Fun free fonts!  Sign up for the free newsletter at the top of the home page.  Click on "Free font family" on the left side of the front page.

What they offer for free just doesn't seem to be my taste, and  don't care for the layout of the site, but they do offer freebies!  At the top of the site, hover over "The Place", then click on freebies.  Don't forget to register!

Scrapbooksetc.com

This is a great page for ideas as well as for some free template downloads.  They periodically send other freebies as well.

Scrapflair.com

Click on "Join" at the top of ther homepage.  There are lots of downloads available when you click on "Downloads".  They send emails periodically with downloads that are really neat, but to keep it 100% free, you have to click "download" on each item, which takes longer than I like.  Sometimes the downloads are a little cheezy for my taste, but sometimes they have great ones.  The non-free option is to order a cd with all the downloads on them, but you pay $4.95 for shipping.  They also offer a completely free scrapbooking software that is really a great software!

Scrapwow.com

I have not joined, and don't plan to, because it's not free.  It's a yearly fee of $19.95.  It looks like it has a ton of neat things.  For that fee, they give you tons of freebies, your own site where you can post scrapbook pages, videos, etc.  Bonnie Evans
The reason I'm listing it is because when you click on the link, it takes you to a page where you enter your info and you receive a huge, very nice free kit, then if you refer 2 friends, you get 2 different kits as well!  It's definitely worth signing up!

Smilebox.com

Really neat layouts and ideas.  You have to download the "software".  The download is fast and it's easy to use.
